Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Location: East Legon Hills, Accra, Ghana, West Africa

Position Overview: JD Link Oil Company Limited is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization into its next phase of growth and innovation. The CEO will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the company, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, business acumen, and the ability to navigate complex challenges across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan in alignment with the board of directors, focusing on long-term growth, sustainability, and value creation.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring that all functions—including production, distribution, and customer service—are aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, government bodies, partners, and the community, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and vision.
  • Financial Management: Lead the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation, to maintain the company’s financial health and drive profitability.
  • Corporate Governance: Ensure the company adheres to the highest standards of corporate governance, ethical conduct, and compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
  • Innovation and Growth: Champion innovation within the organization, exploring new business opportunities, technologies, and markets to drive growth and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Talent and Culture: Lead, mentor, and inspire the executive team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning across the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
  • Proven experience in driving business growth, managing complex operations, and leading high-performing teams in diverse industries.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in managing large-scale budgets and financial strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strategic thinker with a track record of innovation and a strong commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility.
